Good Times in Nashville

School Kids Healthcare held its School Nurse Appreciation event Wednesday evening and a good time was had by all that attended. The three hour event featured appetizers, refreshments and a host of games that highlighted prize giveaways. Many nurses commented on how appreciative they were of the effort put forth in recognizing their value in schools and the community. Kim Alexander, Director of Customer Service for SKHC, commented that “we appreciate what school nurses mean to the health and well being of children in our schools today, and this annual event is one way for us to show our gratitude and appreciation.”
SKHC also took an opportunity at the nurse appreciation event to announce several raffle winners. Pictured is Ann Funck of New Jersey who was the grand prize winner at last year’s drawing in NYC for a trip to the 2007 Nashville show. Congratulations Ann!
Pictured with Kim Alexander are Laurie Hesselink of East End Community School in Portland, ME and Ellie Fronauer of Chadwick School in Palos Verdes Penisula, CA. Laurie and Ellie were the winners of a spring 2007 promotion that SKHC ran that afforded them a trip to the 2007 show in Nashville.
