Caring Today for a Healthier Tomorrow

by SKHC Editor on May 7, 2010

May 6 kicked off the annually celebrated National Nurses Week. This year’s theme is “Caring Today for a Healthier Tomorrow”. With prevention and education being two major keys in personal health the theme couldn’t be more fitting.

Every day is a great day to take the time to appreciate nurses and what they do. However, now through May 12 (a special day dedicated especially as National School Nurses Day) is more important than ever to say those magic words (thank you!) to the nurses in your life.

Whether it’s the nurse in the emergency room, school health room, general practitioner’s office, or wherever one of the many other places they practice, make it a point to say thank you for their dedication and commitment. Those two words go a long way.
