National School Nurse Day 2013

by SKHC Editor on April 30, 2013

National School Nurse Day is right around the corner!  Since 1972, the Wednesday within National Nurse Week, which is always May 6 – 12, is always set aside to recognize school nurses.  This year’s theme Advocacy, Access, Achievement: Leading the Way portrays the role that more than 74,000 school nurses have your children’s everyday lives.

Take a moment to read NASN’s poster about what exactly school nurses do for your children, or print the poster and a letter to hang in your office of community to help spread the word.
